“Brilliant apartment with everything you need for a perfect stay in Bay of Islands
We were so impressed with this apartment, it had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were really comfy and the shower pressure was better than ours at home!

Big bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, sliding patio doors on to the veranda. Each room had fans and heaters but we didn’t need them.

Sadly we were stuck in for two days due to a tropical storm, gale force winds and heavy rain. We ventured to Kerikeri to the chocolate factory before it got too bad. Luckily the apartment had Netflix, Disney etc to help with entertaining the kids and there is also a retro dvd rental available from the office.

When it was sunny the view across the bay was stunning, watching the sunrise with a coffee is a must. And we even saw the Milky Way one night.

Staff were all super friendly and they’d thought of everything - clingfilm and tin foil was really handy to keep food or packs picnic. Plenty of toilet roll, fresh towels if you wanted them daily, dishwashing and washing machine facilities in the apartment including detergent too. There’s a good sized supermarket 5 minute walk away - we decided to cook at home every night as the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The town is a short 2 min drive or 15 min walk, plenty of free and paid for parking. Some lovely gift shops and a fab icecream shops and coffee shops.

You can see the Waitangi treaty grounds from the apartment too - you must visit here, if we’d had time I would have gone back again to visit, so interesting.

We booked a boat trip out to the hole in the rock which is definitely worth doing, especially the secret beach stop. I would just check on the weather as choppy seas were not pleasant for me as someone who suffers with sea sickness.

On our last day we got the ferry to Russel and then took a 20 minute walk across the island to Oneroa Bay - great find. Was sheltered and clean, there are toilets and showers there and a small coffee van - so packs picnic if you plan to go for the day. Some shade under trees too.”

“A great place to stay in a beautiful location in Paihia.
We stayed for two nights with our sister and brother in law. A great venue with super facilities. A super view across the bay and all the apartment amenities one needs. Excellent kitchen and two spacious bathrooms one with a spa bath. I would highly recommend it.”

"Lovely spot to base yourself in the Bay of Islands. We had a comfy 2 bed unit with a hot tub on the balcony and an amazing view of the bay across to Russell. The unit was thoughtfully provided with anything you might need; not brand new, but very clean and well furnished. Our parking spot was right outside. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the place was quiet and soundproof. We had a really relaxing stay and used it as a base to visit local attractions. The Waitangi Treaty grounds are just up the road, and there are plenty of local restaurants plus a supermarket just round the corner. Lovely spot!”

“Blue Pacific - what a dream!!
What a fantastic spot and apartment. Greeted by exceptionally friendly manager and staff who were very helpful. Arrived early and they still allowed us to go into the apartment. So clean and beautifully furnished - with all the little things taken care of - even down to extras such as place mats and egg cups as well as serving dishes. All the crockery matched which is a small thing but made the difference. We are now on our 5th week of traveling NZ and definitely one of the best apartments so far!!”
